NES Financial is a Silicon Valley FinTech company that provides third-party fund administration services — primarily for the EB-5 market and private equity firms. The legislation known as EB-5 allows foreign investors to obtain a path to citizenship by investing in the US economy and proving that they have created 10 US jobs through their investment. I contributed primarily to the thought leadership communications stream regarding EB-5 — including changes in legislation, best practices and new services. I wrote blogs for the NES Financial website as well as articles directed toward Chinese investors.

Because there is such a backlog in processing here in the US, Chinese investors often have to reinvest or "redeploy" their assets to meet USCIS requirements. NES Financial partnered with other industry leaders to provide a redeployment product — and I wrote the press release announcing this product, as well as blogs and articles detailing the benefits.

I also wrote emails promoting industry events where NES management were featured speakers, webinars in which NES management moderated discussions among industry leaders. After these events, I wrote blogs summarizing the highlights. I also interviewed industry leaders on the changing landscape of EB-5, and wrote blogs and articles featuring their insights.
